This short video is a step-by-step guide to the process of setting up a heat-wait-seek test on a sample with unknown properties.
The test settings used here run the ARC in small temperature steps over a large temperature range (50-400 degrees) in order to find any exothermic response that might occur in the sample. Once this initial test is carried out, the test may be repeated, with the test starting closer to the real onset temperature.
