The Sterling Hill Mining Museum in Ogdensburg, NJ is the fluorescing mineral capital of the world. Certain minerals found here are not found anywhere else on the planet. In this video, we talk with President & Executive Director Bill Kroth & Resident Geologist Earl Verbeek about how they are implementing the use of portable Raman spectroscopy to identify and verify minerals at this unique location.
